Mosaic Workshop

Piecing Together Memories and Community

Intro to basic techniques in mosaic making

Taught by Christine Moss at Freehold Art Exchange

In this hands-on workshop, students will create their own individual mosaic on a wooden base, using a variety of materials such as stained glass and broken china. Students are invited to bring in a plate, cup or other ceramic  item of your own that has meaning and memory for you to include in your project. You will also have the option to share a piece of what you bring with the other students, thus making new connections and memories with each other through our art.

The workshop is free of charge, includes all materials to complete a project and will run for

4 consecutive Saturdays from 10am-1pm

July 23, July 30, August 6 and August 13

At Freehold Art Exchange in Freehold, NY

Please only sign up if you are able to make it to all four sessions.

Class size is limited to 10 students ages 16 and up
