MISSION

Our mission at Freehold Art Exchange (FAEx) is to provide a safe, creative and collaborative space for artists who are dedicated to social justice, environmental sustainability and community engagement in order to strengthen communities and safeguard freedom of expression for artists all over the world.

We encourage an interdisciplinary and conservation-oriented approach to art making, and provide opportunities for artists to deepen their connection with the earth and their communities.

Crucial to our mission is that these residencies are at no cost to the artist. During their residency time, artists are free to explore their creativity in a safe, nurturing and beautiful environment.
